Registration Requirements
Eugene Little League bases it registration on two primary factors:- The player or a legal guardian, resides in the chartered boundary of Eugene Little League and
- The player is eligible due to their age (softball) and (baseball) ages 4-14 as outlined below.

Residence shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1 of the previous year and February 1 of the current year, from one or more documents from EACH of the three Groups outlined below:
Group I
- Driver’s License
- School Records
- Vehicle Records (i.e., Registration, Lease, etc.)
- Employment Records
- Insurance Documents
Group II
- Welfare/Child Care Records
- Federal Records (i.e., Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)
- State Records
- Local (Municipal) Records
- Support Payment Records
- Homeowner or Tenant Records
- Military Records
Group III
- Voter’s Registration
- Utility Bills (i.e., Gas, Electric, Water/Sewer, Phone, Heating, Waste Disposal)
- Financial Records
- Medical Records
- Internet, Cable, or Satellite Records
IMPORTANT NOTE: Example – Three documents from the same Group (utility bill, cable bill, and bank statement) constitute only ONE document. Players who established “residence” or “school attendance” for regular season and/or tournament prior to the 2016-2017 season using the Player Verification Form, and can produce the form with proper proofs and signatures, will be grandfathered and will NOT need to complete a new Player Verification Form.
Which level of play is right for my child?
Getting your young Little League baseball or softball player into the right division is the most important first step in helping us create a memorable experience for your player, and your family. The appropriate divisional placement will increase confidence, skill development and most importantly, FUN!!Review the criteria below. If you feel your child has mastered most (if not all) of the criteria listed, they are most likely ready for the next level of Little League Baseball or Softball. As always, feel free to contact the Eugene Little League Board of Directors with any questions. Age requirements: Player MUST reach the assigned age according to Little League Age Chart play the upcoming season in each of the divisions below.
